Who am I selling my car to?

That's easy, us! As part of one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups, Motor Depot Limited, we have the resources and funds to complete all transaction ourselves. We pay for your car in full on collection and the cleared funds are in your bank account before we leave with your car.

Is it secure?

It couldn't be any more secure for you, the seller. There is absolutely no risk from the initial contact via our website, through to arranging the collection of your vehicle, our dedicated account managers handle everything on your behalf. Only when you are happy that you have the cleared funds in your bank account do you release the V5 and let us take the vehicle.

I still owe finance on the car, what do I need to do?

It's very simple, if the amount we are buying your car for is more than what you owe to the finance company, we will clear the finance on your behalf when we collect your car. We would then pay the balance directly to you by secure bank transfer.

What happens if I owe more on my car than what it is worth?

If you are in negative equity on your car, all is not lost. We can clear the finance in full on your behalf, you would then need to pay us the shortfall by debit or credit card.

I have a private registration plate that I want to keep, is that OK?

That isn't a problem, your account manager will talk you through the process of how we put your private registration plate on retention on your behalf.

How do I know you will pay me?

That's easy, you don't hand your car, V5 or keys over to us until we have paid for your vehicle. We pay by secure bank transfer from the Royal Bank of Scotland. These payments typically take around 20 minutes to process and we wait with you until you have confirmed the cleared funds are in your account.

We haven't I received an automatic valuation?

Because no two specialist cars are the same, no system in the world could accurately value a prestige or specialist car automatically. Our team of valuation experts have a combined experience of over 50 years valuing vehicles, we will look at the individual details of your car, gathering as much information as possible before we come back to you with our highest, genuine offer.

What does this service cost me?

There's no charge for our service, even the collection is free. The price we quote you is the price we will pay you for your car, there are no hidden administration charges, collection fees or bank transfer fees.
